America's Enemies

For some reason I continue to be amazed at the reaction of the mainstream press to this Newsweek disaster.

In the aftermath of the RatherGate matter last year, you'd tend to think that the press would be a bit more cautious, more careful to dot the I's and cross the T's. But instead, in the wake of the enormous discrediting of CBS an American newsmagazine creates a false story, gets caught in the subterfuge and then BLAMES the Bush Administration.

Yeah, Matt Lauer on the Today Show this morning asked one of his guests if the White House was 'piling on' Newsweek. PILING ON? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

NBC Nightly News last reported that the Muslim world wasn't a bit surprised by the Newsweek story and that 'rumors' of similar activity is taken as the gospel truth.

The press with all of it's inbred Liberal bias actually believes that America is the bad guy. America mistreats Muslims, just look at Abu Ghraib. There's the proof! Abu Ghraib, Abu Ghraib, Abu Ghraib.

In fact, Daniel Klaidman, NEWSWEEK's Washington bureau chief, on CBS this morning spoke about the magazine's aggressive reporting on Abu Ghraib, as if it is an ongoing matter, an open investigation! They can't get past this non story! They are obsessed.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That's been over for how long? How minor was Abu Ghraib? Something like three soldiers were abusing terrorists? Who cares?

I'll tell you who cares. The mainstream press. They care because they believe continually hyping the Abu Ghraib non story is a vehicle to help them to push their agenda.

The agenda since 2000 has been, in large measure, to discredit and take down George Bush. Even today, with Bush sworn into his second term nearly four months ago, the press is continually attempts to torch the President's reputation. That's how deep, how severe the Media Establishment's hatred of conservatives happens to be.

And it enrages the Left all the more that Bush seems to be untouchable, so they go another route, take another road, anything to make Bush look bad. This is just the latest hair-brained idea of some moronic assignment editor in DC or New York. 'Hey, let's blame Bush for Newsweek's incompetent reporting and if we can get the Muslim world all riled up just a bit more, maybe America will lose Iraq. Just what we always wanted!'

You'd think that Liberals would care--you know how much the Left supposedly 'cares' about the poor and the weak and the victims among us--about the fact the the manufactured Newsweek story resulted in the death of 17 people wouldn't you? But they don't.

Newsweek has even refused the resignation of one of the writers of the bogus story, Michael Isikoff. Dan Rather didn't kill anybody but he was fired for making up stories. Isikoff and John Barry killed 17 people and caused the injuries of untold others and sullied America's reputation across the world and at least one of them will be allowed to keep his job?

Those Liberal elites...such team players. But the good news for common sense Americans is that the Left wing team in America is losing and the proof is everywhere around us.

Howard Dean, the chairman of the Democratic Party yesterday said that Tom DeLay should go to Texas and begin serving his jail sentence. Nevermind the fact that DeLay has yet to be charged with doing anything wrong.

Judicial activism continues to be rampant from coast to coast.

Democrats in Washington DC are unhinged in their hatred of Bush and all things good and decent. The more shrill and out of control they become, the better it is for America.
