It appears that our friend, the pugnacious and ethically challenged Senate Minority Leader, Harry Reid has enlisted the help of a former aid in securing financial records of President Bush's judicial nominees.
The Oakland, California political consulting firm Varoga & Rice have requested, and continue to seek, financial information on 30 judges, nine of which have been mentioned as possible Supreme Court candidates.
It turns out that Craig Varoga is a former aid to Reid and Rice is an opposition research expert. And guess who's footing the bill for the eventual judicial mudslinging? NARAL.
