'we have a strategy'
So says my Senator, Barbara Boxer.
'We will unveil our plan early in 2006,' said Chuck Schumer late in 2005.
'We are fighting to find a voice under difficult circumstances,' says John Kerry.
We've heard all this before. If the Democrats really do have a plan, then certainly we would have heard something about it by now, wouldn't we?
Even the NYT is thinking the Democrats are in trouble and that the old donkeys of the DNC--Howard Dean, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Al Gore, and Kerry--are 'flawed messengers.'
That's code for 'losers.'
Finally some astute political analysis from the Times. This must be a leap year.

I loved this. Losers sounds like an accurate description to me.
