100 months

"Duke" Cunningham is going to the Big House for eight years and four months--if my math is correct, and it very likely is not--that's 100 months my former Congressman is going to have to worry about not picking up his soap in the shower.

He deserves it. As have all the other former Congressmen who have served jail time. Unfortunately for Cunningham, his sentence is the longest sentence imposed on the dozen + Congressmen sent to prison--by four months. Interestingly he is only the second Republican. The first was Andrew J. Hinshaw, also from the great state of California.

Some of the others: Charles Diggs (D-MI), Michael Myers (D-PA), Mario Biaggi (D-NY), Mel Martinez (D-IL), Dan Rostenkowski (D-IL), Walter Tucker (D-CA) and James Traficant (D-OH).
