Tony Blair is now under fire for declaring that he is a devout Christian and that 'God and history would judge his action in joining the US-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003.'

In this above link from Netscape News, the level and quality of reporting are well below minimum standards. For example, there is a bit about 'Blair's recent remarks [being reminiscent] of US President George W. Bush who was quoted as saying last year that God told him to invade Iraq and Afghanistan.'

Of course, Bush said no such thing. Yet another ridiculous Lefty myth.

The duties of the job of President and Prime Minister carry such heavy burdens. Weighty decisions are made almost daily. Ordering troops into battle must be a heart-wrenching decision. There's nothing wrong with seeking some heavenly advice, seeking strength and wisdom, from time to time.

The secularists can all go to hell.
