democrat advocates illegal voting
What's this? Democrat Francine Busby advocating illegal immigrants voting? Advocating illegal activity?
Last night the candidate for San Diego's 50 Congressional seat held a closed door meeting for Mexican supporters.
One Spanish speaking man asked Busby how "he could help" her campaign and then mentioned that he was illegal and "didn't have any papers." Busby said, "Everybody can help, yeah, absolutely, everyone can help. You don’t need papers for voting, you don’t need to be a registered voter to help.”
Busby even thinks making English the official language of the United States is 'ridiculous.' I think she's ridiculous. Only the Democrats would field such a blowhard candidate. THIS is the woman upon whom national Democrats are pinning their hopes for 2006.
“At best, Francine Busby was caught red-handed brazenly soliciting campaign help from illegal aliens, and at worst she is encouraging illegals to vote by claiming that ‘you don’t need papers to vote,’” said San Diego Republican Chairman Ron Nehring. "Busby is so desperate to win a political campaign she's inviting people illegally in the country to save her campaign. It's an outrage."

I'm not sure that Busby has as much support from the national Democratic party as she does from Kos and his blind followers. Not that it matters, since the Democrats will support anyone who they think can beat Republicans. Including Busby.
This is why candidates supported by the infamous Kos continue to lose elections. They will be too honest about what they really believe. Normally, this would be a desirable quality in a candidate. But the problem with candidates favored by the extreme left is that they take positions that are unpopular with those outside of their small interest group. In the case of Busby, she boldly takes an unpopular position here, especially in the state of California. I don't believe the people agree with her (and I certainly don't), even though it might be a different story with some of the local politicians. Saying stuff like that may make her popular with the extreme left, but I'll bet it doesn't help her with all the other voters in CA.
We shall see. She's attempting a huge con on the voters of San Diego. Not only is she running, but her campaign is also underwritting the campaign of William Griffith.
Supposedly Griffith is a Libertarian, but all of his radio spots have been paid for by the Busby campaign.
Obviously they are counting on Griffith to peel away votes from Bilbray. Republican Bill Huff is an early primary opponent that refuses to remain vanguished. He's trying to do the same thing.
Republicans always attempt to eat their own young.
