Leaving a ruthless dictator in power in the Middle East? Leaving Hussein alone, after he violated 12 years worth of UN resolutions? Leave Hussein alone after he violated the no fly zone rules for 12 years by firing on American planes? Leaving Hussein alone so that he could continue to rape, kill, torture and terrorize his own people? Leaving Hussein alone to pay the families of Palestinian suicide bombers and fund terrorist enterprises around the globe?
The Democrats are such cowards. The pacifistic Left is unqualified to lead. The status quo thinking favored by Pelosi, Reid, Clinton, Kerry, Murtha, Kennedy and Schumer went out the window on 9/11/01. Protecting America from ALL possible threats is the only smart strategery going forward.

You are exactly right. Saddam was a threat that had to be dealt with. Did we do everything perfectly in Iraq? No...but we kicked Saddam out of power, and we have no reason to apologize to anyone for that.
Lisa stole what I was going to say about Rockefeller so let me just agree.
It seems that dems like Rockefeller constantly wants to re-debate whether or not we should invade Iraq. The time for debate was before we invaded. And dems like Rockefeller want everyone to forget that at the appropriate time to raise doubts about the wisdom of invasion they were, in reality, singing a much different tune than there are now. The revisionist dems are essentially fair weather terror warriors. When something good happens in the war on terror they approve, but when the going gets tough they bail out and abdicate responsibility by attempting to reinvent what their stance was. Too bad Rockefeller, you hack, we remember what you said pre-invasion.
