Former CNN news division chief Eason Jordan is launching a blog that will focus exclusively on Iraq.

'IraqSlogger,' inspired by Donald Rumsfeld's description of the Iraq war as 'a long, hard slog,' will offer a morning roundup of US newspapers, translated stories from Iraqi newspapers, Iraqi blogs, “viral videos," and so-called “nuggets," missed by major media, like the Iraqi getting addiction to the American television series “Lost." Jordan calls it "original reporting from Iraq beyond the traditional."

Sounds like a very cool blog, one that I will definitely read. But Jordan is a squid. He ignored (and instructed reporters not to report on) Hussein regime atrocities in order to secure CNN's access to Iraq, and he was forced to resign from the cable network after he suggested that coalition troops had "targeted" a dozen journalists in Iraq.
