What the hell is going on with Taco Bell? First, this e coli bacteria thing was believed to have been from green onions from California. Then it was some crap about chili pepper powder. And now we're supposed to believe that lettuce was the contaminated item?

C'mon people, level with us. I did crisis management back in my P.R. days and rule numero uno is always 'be honest,' and that means honesty straight out of the gate, the second the crisis breaks, tell people the truth so your company can survive.

According to the website the company changed lettuce suppliers 'strickly as a precautionary measure' on December 9.

Whatever. 'Thinking outside the bun' is always going to be difficult for me.
