dubya's done?

Sure, President Bush is now officially a lame duck. But done? So says a hyper negative JPod, who is all too quick to lump the immigration bill with Dubai and Harriet Miers.

I disagree. Don't discount the veto pen. Obviously Iraq isn't finished. Work must be completed on the AMT and making the tax cuts permanent. There's much more to do regarding Israel and the Palestinians, Lebanon, Syria and Iran.

As a practical matter, the notion that the Bush presidency is over is rather silly. I respect disagreements on policy but I loathe this sophomoric piling on. There is a big difference.
