follow the leader

President McCain leads Barack 49%-42% and Hillary 51%-41%. Too bad it's only March.

The landscape going forward has to favor McCain. Let's go through the list.

Iraq.
Terrorism.
The economy, because he'll cut taxes and the others won't.
Race, he's above the fray.
Partisanship, he's viewed favorably by Democrats and Independents.
Immigration, he'll win Hispanics.
Abortion, he's staunchly pro-life.

Additionally, he doesn't cheat on his wife and he doesn't have an angry pastor. By all accounts, McCain is a hero and a solid citizen. His record speaks for itself. He is experience. I could go on.

You know I'm optimistic. I grow more confident each day of an easy McCain victory.

All great points.

It's great to be back at RFL, land of the bold predictions and bad ass declarations.

Its a far cry from the equivocation of Obama and his supporters.

Hey, thanks Buddy.

I never got around to that fantasy baseball thing. Sorry I've ignored your emails.

McCain is coming to San Diego tomorrow for a townhall meeting with military families and a fundraiser.

Maybe I'll put on some pants and go do a meet-n-greet.
