This particular moment in time is the testing phase for al Qaeda. They are acting, today on Westerners in India, tomorrow maybe someplace else, to see how America reacts.
This moment in time, a phase of transition between Administrations in Washington DC, is the testing ground to see if we will continue to be tough as we have the last eight years under a Republican or if we will roll over like we did the last time a Democrat occupied the White House.
And they continue to test us here, too. God bless New York City's subways and trains.

Joe Biden's prediction may turn out to be more correct than previously thought. Of course, hitting a financial center in India and a vague threat against our NYC transit system are a far cry from an actual crisis or attack on US soil. Al Qaeda threatens us every year, and the NYC transit system is one of their favorite "targets".
I have no doubt, however, that they will attempt something real in short order - big or small, any attack here at home will have a definite impact to the American psyche and our awareness of national security threats. If Obama isn't up to the task, the public will find out no matter how the media tries to whitewash the reality.
That is the biggest scandal of all. The MSM elected a guy ill-prepared for the task.
