wtf? part ii
US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano keeps reminding me more and more of Janet Reno."9/11 hijackers entering the US through Canada?" (Uh, no, Janet. They were already inside the United States because of the Clinton administration.)
All we've heard over the past five, six years is how 'incompetent' the Bush administration was. Obama, and his ilk, were supposed to be the smartest, the best and the brightest...
Napolitano is clearly not up for the job, confusing the peaceful, cross-border-trading Canada with the ultra-violent, gun and drug running Mexican border. Read "The Border for Dummies," courtesy of Canada's National Post.
I've been asking the same question since last December. Why is Napolitano even a member of Obama's cabinet? What are her qualifications? These are the best and the brightest leaders our country has to offer? God help us.
Napolitano is the same woman (a member of the Obama administration) who apparently believes that returning American ex-military are dangerous people who pose a threat to US national security.
God, I miss the Bush administration.

It's going to get worse. A lot worse.
If another attack happens, they're going to try and blame Bush - because he 'tortured' enemy combatants.
But it won't be his fault. His DHS, CIA, NSA, FBI, and military programs stopped terror attacks. That will become even clearer if more of these memos are released.
His leadership did not alienate the world. Japan, Canada, Germany, and even France elected right-wing governments while Bush was in office. Maybe the French hated Bush - but it was because they feared him. It's better to be feared and hated than taken for granted and loved.
That may be the signal lesson of the Bush Administration - and I'm okay with that.
(Oh, and some other nations in Europe saw right-ward parliamentary shifts too - so, hooray for capitalism.)
Amen.
