my two favorite words: beating democrats

The Democrats are facing something rare in 2010.  Stiff competition.

Slugs like Rep. David Obey, (D-WI) who has won 21 elections and heads the powerful Appropriations Committee, Rep. John M. Spratt Jr. (D-SC) who oversees the Budget Committee, Ike Skelton (D-MO), who runs the Armed Services Committee and Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D-ND) all are in danger of losing their seats.

The party of Obama, Biden, Pelosi and Reid is also home to the despicable Obey, 71, who has served in Congress longer than his challenger,  the 38 year old Sean Duffy, a Republican district attorney, has been alive.

"It's not a lifetime appointment. People aren't happy," Duffy says.

It does my heart good to hear that Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, has said that anything short of taking back the House this November will be viewed as a failure by Republicans.

Beating these corrupt, entrenched Democrats is the best thing we can do for the country. There is no more valiant purpose, nothing as vital, nothing as important, as beating Democrats at ballot boxes in all 50 states this fall.
