exposing dishonesty

There is nothing better than watching lying, corrupt, morally bankrupt politicians like Al Gore and Barack Obama -- the absolute dregs of society -- exposed to the world as lying, corrupt, morally bankrupt people.

You already know all about Al 'Crazed Sex Poodle' Gore.

Now let's talk about our wildly incompetent, totally juvenile, in-over-his-head, Manchurian-President Obama.

The Magic Negro allegedly knew of the plan to award his Illinois Senate seat to his close friend Valerie Jarrett, via a deal with former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
"The president understands that the governor would be willing to make the appointment of Valerie Jarrett as long as he gets what he's asked for. . . . The governor gets the Cabinet appointment he's asked for," Blago's former chief-of-staff John Harris said, explaining a recorded call.
"Harris said Blagojevich came away believing Obama knew what he wanted after having a conversation with a local union representative, who in turn spoke with labor leader Tom Balanoff, with whom Blagojevich met to discuss a Jarrett appointment. Jarrett, now a White House adviser, was seeking the appointment to Obama's Senate seat."
This might be news to some stupid people, but is this really surprising that Obama might have known about the jockeying behind the scenes to grab his Senate seat? Hell no, especially given Chicago's well deserved and well chronicled cheating reputation.

Harris also testified that Obama had four successors in mind for his seat -- Jesse Jackson, Jr; Tammy Duckworth; Jan Schakowsky; Dan Hynes -- and those names were delivered by incoming White House chief-of-staff Rahm Emanuel.

Harris testified that both he and Blagojevich were unclear whether the list was authentic, or just a 'political maneuver,' but the very idea that Obama, who at that point was the President-elect of the United States, would deem it appropriate to offer 'suggestions' of names that he would consider 'appropriate' for his former Senate seat underscores possible corruption at the highest level of government and, if true, a complete disdain for democracy in it's purest form.

That disdain for democracy certainly fits the template we're currently seeing in terms of a failing Presidency, extremely unpopular White House policies and sour public opinion.

'willing suspension of disbelief'

Chaos, confusion, intellectual dishonesty, shame and... Irony.

Obama and the Democrats are depending on the man they once called a liar to now save Obama's bacon in "the war of necessity."

The intellectually dishonest Washington Post quotes White House aides heaping 'respect' upon Petraeus, all the while failing to mention the disgustingly offensive 'Democratic'/ 'Betray Us' ad in 2007.

MoveOn, by the way, has scrubbed the Petraeus slander from it's website.

I wonder what Hillary thinks of today's developments?

Al Gore, sex criminal?

A massage therapist has accused the big, fat fraud of grabbing, groping and forcing her when she visited his hotel room in Portland, OR.  He also played Pink's 'Dear Mr. President' for her on his iPod.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is asking for donations to 'fend off' her caucus from Republican investigations.

What is she talking about? Everybody knows that Republicans lack the balls (and the political will and/or stomach) for such protracted fights... Is Nancy finally coming clean and admitting that the Democrats are a bunch of rule-breaking slimeballs?

Is the much vaunted transparency finally going to make an appearance on Capitol Hill? Will Nancy finally honor her pledge and make certain that her Congress is the most ethical Congress in history?

growing discontent

Business leaders, like Verizon's CEO Ivan Seidenberg, say Obama's economic policies suck.
"In our judgment, we have reached a point where the negative effects of these policies are simply too significant to ignore," Seidenberg said in a lunchtime speech to the Economic Club of Washington. "By reaching into virtually every sector of economic life, government is injecting uncertainty into the marketplace and making it harder to raise capital and create new businesses."

mika brzezinski
Speaking of phony journalism, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention MSNBC and the embarrassing Mika Brzezinski.

Mika, upset by former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani's comments about the Magic Negro, has admitted to 'writing talking points on the BP oil spill for the White House.'

That's a completely new spin on journalistic objectivity. How does that work, exactly? Are we to believe that lovely Mika can fairly report the news even though she admitted on air that she's a partisan?

What's that old cliche? 'An apple doesn't fall far from the tree'? Her father, the idiot Zbigniew Brzezinski, was National Security Advisor to that other joke of a President, Jimmy Carter.

I'm on the fence as to whether or not Rolling Stone is to be taken seriously for political reporting.

McChrystal voted for Obama? Obviously he's not as smart as I thought.

One thing is clear: Obama is no executive leader. So it's totally plausible that a weak, incapable, 'uncomfortable and intimidated' President allows open competition inside the White House for 'the Afghan portfolio.'

Reportedly, Hillary, Richard Holbrooke, U.S. Ambassador Karl Eikenberry, National Security Advisor Jim Jones, even John Kerry and John McCain are inserting themselves into the policy arena.

Okay, two things are clear: Nobody gives a damn what Joe Biden thinks about anything.  Biden is an idiot, a walking gaffe, a joke, a metaphor for the Obama administration.

Come to think of it, three things are clear: The General really, really wanted to get the hell out of Afghanistan.

Barack Obama is the most incompetent man ever to be elected President of the United States. He is lazy. He is rude. He is a liar. (Michael Barone calls him 'blatantly dishonest.') He doesn't care about public opinion. He is stubborn.  I make no apologies for my distaste, my anger, my revulsion at any and all things Obama-related.

He has allowed the Gulf Oil Spill to become the worst environmental disaster in American history.  And why? Why didn't he rapidly waive the Jones Act and accept foreign assistance on Day Three of the spill?

Why isn't Obama kicking ass, trying to stop the spill? Why is he playing so much golf? Bush didn't play golf during crises. He correctly and wisely thought it was unbecoming for a President to enjoy himself while Americans were suffering.

I think the Magic Negro failed to act in the Gulf because he wanted to create another crisis. A crisis that would become a calamity that would enable the government to permanently prevent oil drilling. The idiot Obama even proposed a moratorium on drilling for six months, which would have added more pain and suffering to the Gulf region by killing untold thousands of jobs.  Fortunately, a Federal Judge in New Orleans today lifted the ban. Judge Martin L.C. Feldman even went as far to say that the Obama administration 'misled the public' on the proposed moratorium.  Thank God for common sense.

Why did Obama advocate bring terrorists to New York City for trials? That went nowhere. It pissed off a lot of people and now the KSM trial has been rescheduled, conveniently until after the midterm elections in November.

Obamacare was a shameless, and shameful, power grab. An unparalleled expansion of Washington DC. It will be over-turned one day. But until that time, it stands as Obama's one achievement. (Besides fooling the electorate into thinking he wasn't a Marxist.) And like everything else Obama does, it's full of assumptions, hubris and falsehoods.
Barack Obama
In Arizona, the Governor courageously passed Senate Bill 1070, a tough new immigration law.  Obama opposes the law, even though it's likely he still hasn't read it. And now he's instructed the Justice Department to sue Arizona. By the way, 73% of Americans support the new Arizona law, but that doesn't matter to the President of the United States. He wants Mexicans to vote for Democrats, so he's doing what Democrats do best: Demagoguery.

In Afghanistan, Obama ordered a troop surge, which I supported. But now it has become clear that he has no plan,  other than not equipping the soldiers to do their jobs. Example: A rejected howitzer request because of concerns about collateral damage.

Obama was a Senator for all of about six minutes before he began campaigning for President. But as a Senator he was a loud critic of the Iraq war. Biden wanted to partition Iraq into three different states.  Remember that bit of genius? The military has zero respect for Obama and Biden.

The Obama White House is populated by a bunch of hacks like David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs. They have no idea what they are doing. Every day presents a new problem, a new crisis, a new feud with another country. In his first 18 months, the moronic Obama has alienated England, France, Poland, Honduras, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Columbia and Israel. What happened to Barack making the world love American again? The world has discovered, in short order, what a foolish, empty, pathetic nothing of a man Barry Hussein Obama really is.

Yes, America and the world is being badly served by the Obama administration.  Bureaucratic red tape still bedevils Louisiana.  And Obama still hasn't waived the Jones Act.

Hearings into the government's response to this oil spill should begin immediately. (Remember Democrats opened hearings into Katrina a week after the storm?) After that? Impeachment hearings should begin.

Mr Hayward has been warned he wioll be 'spliced and diced' by the committee
Why are people so outraged at BP CEO Tony Hayward? I actually like the guy and I've been impressed with his manner.

But some of you are stupid enough to think that the Chief Exec of the world's second largest oil company actually rolls up his sleeves and drags oil from the bowels of the Earth himself. I would suggest that you are the same stupid people who voted for Barack Obama.

Being frustrated by the Gulf oil spill is understandable.  I'm frustrated.  Being angry is reasonable. I'm angry, too. Especially about the government doing nothing for two weeks after the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon rig.  This was an avoidable crisis, but Obama turned down 13 offers of foreign assistance.  And expecting Hayward to answer specific questions now about X, Y and Z, when Y and Z occurred a mile under the water strikes me as totally unreasonable.

Tony might be inept, but only stupid people ask stupid questions in a crisis.

And nobody was more stupid (or shamelessly outraged) last week than Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI), Bruce Braley (D-IA) and Peter Welch (D-VT).  All of these guys lambasted Hayward for seven and a half hours!  Democrats are always the stupid and inept ones.  And they prefer talking to taking direct action.

The best question to ask is this: Did the Congressional grilling Hayward received solve anything? No.  Was it a waste of time? Yes, completely. It was a bunch of rich guys yelling at another rich guy, all to no avail, illustrating yet again just how worthless governments are.

Of course, Tony is back in England, spending time with his family and sailing today. He's got his back. Finally.

And what is the President of the United States (and I use that term loosely) doing? Barry is golfing.

a new day in maryland?

We can hope. Charles Lollar is challenging Steny Hoyer.

june 12, 2009

A year ago today, the new American President, Barack Obama, he of no qualification and no executive experience, had an opportunity to overthrow the dictatorial regime of Iran.

But instead of aiding protesters and equipping them with hardware and software communication tools, the feckless, cowardly Obama sided with the fraudulent regime.
"The Obama diplomacy was caught flatfooted by the tumult, to say the least. Mr. Obama had bet on Iran's rulers, but a democratic opposition—in our image, speaking the language of democracy and unfurling its banners—was in the streets contesting the rulers' will and the rulers' truth. It was a moment of supreme embarrassment for the United States—a case of both strategic and moral failure on the part of the president.
"There is no guarantee that categorical American support would have altered the outcome of the struggle between autocracy and liberty in Iran. But it shall now be part of the narrative of liberty that when Persia rose in the summer of 2009 the steward of American power ducked for cover, and that a president who prided himself on his eloquence couldn't even find the words to tell the forces of liberty that he understood the wellsprings of their revolt."
Now, a year after it mattered the most, the cowardly, foolish, failure known as Obama has suddenly 'shifted' strategy and is now doing what he should have done 12 months ago: Provide dissidents in Iran with computer hardware and software to evade government censors.

From Michael Ladeen:
"Western support for the (opposition party) Greens would do wonders for opposition morale, catalyze the undecided, and perhaps contain the looming violence. Yet no Western government is even talking to the Green leaders, let alone embracing their cause. This fecklessness advances neither our interests nor those of the brave Iranians who are fighting to join the civilized world. Even the watered-down sanctions enacted this month by the U.N. Security Council represent a challenge to the regime, although they do not touch its Achilles' heel: crude oil and petroleum products. We should do much more.
"One can imagine the Green movement's leaders quoting Martin Luther King Jr., speaking a half-century ago of another struggle for freedom and respect: "In the end," he said, "we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends."
It's worth remembering today, on this anniversary, the fools and morons who tirelessly advocated for an Obama presidency. If they had any decency or honor, they'd now hang their heads in shame, admit their mistake, apologize to the Republic for damage done, stop blaming Bush and permanently refrain from ever commenting on politics again.

carly, meg, sharron & prop 14

California Republicans nominated two smart, capable women yesterday:  Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina.  Now Whitman will challenge Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown for Governor and Fiorina will take on the brain dead idiot Liberal Senator Barbara Boxer.

Voters here in California also did something really stupid yesterday. Prop 14 creates open primaries and elevates the top two vote winners to a general election run-off, regardless of party.  So, two Republicans, or more likely, two Democrats will now face each other.  Changing the way candidates are nominated in a deep blue Liberal state like California? Bad idea for democracy. Prop 14 also effectively kills third party candidates, because Greens or Libertarians don't garner big vote shares.

To Nevada. Sharron Angle wouldn't have been my first choice to challenge brain dead idiot Liberal Harry Reid, but her spunkiness is infective. If she gets a good organization up and running, I like her chances against the wildly unpopular Reid.

Of course, asshole Harry has a ton of cash and the sycophantic media (like the always objective Margaret Carlson) on his side who will continue to write ridiculous crap like "Harry Reid Glad to Face GOP Extremist."

the national deceptive 5th grade nightmare

The WSJ calls Obama 'The Alien in the White House.'
"It was clear from the first that this president—single-minded, ever-visible, confident in his program for a reformed America saved from darkness by his arrival—was wanting in certain qualities citizens have until now taken for granted in their presidents. Namely, a tone and presence that said: This is the Americans' leader, a man of them, for them, the nation's voice and champion. Mr. Obama wasn't lacking in concern about the oil spill. What he lacked was that voice.
"A great part of America now understands that this president's sense of identification lies elsewhere, and is in profound ways unlike theirs. He is hard put to sound convincingly like the leader of the nation, because he is, at heart and by instinct, the voice mainly of his ideological class. He is the alien in the White House, a matter having nothing to do with delusions about his birthplace cherished by the demented fringe.
"One of his first reforms was to rid the White House of the bust of Winston Churchill—a gift from Tony Blair—by packing it back off to 10 Downing Street. A cloudlet of mystery has surrounded the subject ever since, but the central fact stands clear. The new administration had apparently found no place in our national house of many rooms for the British leader who lives on so vividly in the American mind. Churchill, face of our shared wartime struggle, dauntless rallier of his nation who continues, so remarkably, to speak to ours. For a president to whom such associations are alien, ridding the White House of Churchill would, of course, have raised no second thoughts.
"Far greater strangeness has since flowed steadily from Washington. The president's appointees, transmitters of policy, go forth with singular passion week after week, delivering the latest inversion of reality. Their work is not easy, focused as it is on a current prime preoccupation of this White House—that is, finding ways to avoid any public mention of the indisputable Islamist identity of the enemy at war with us. No small trick that, but their efforts go forward in public spectacles matchless in their absurdity—unnerving in what they confirm about our current guardians of law and national security.
"Long after Mr. Obama leaves office, it will be this parade of explicators, laboring mightily to sell each new piece of official reality revisionism—Janet Napolitano and her immortal "man-caused disasters'' among them—that will stand most memorably as the face of this administration.
"It is a White House that has focused consistently on the sensitivities of the world community—as it is euphemistically known—a body of which the president of the United States frequently appears to view himself as a representative at large.
"It is what has caused this president and his counterterrorist brain trust to deem it acceptable to insult Americans with nonsensical evasions concerning the enemy we face. It is this focus that caused Mr. Holder to insist on holding the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in lower Manhattan, despite the rage this decision induced in New Yorkers, and later to insist if not there, then elsewhere in New York. This was all to be a dazzling exhibition for that world community—proof of Mr. Obama's moral reclamation program and that America had been delivered from the darkness of the Bush years."
This is the exact guy that I warned everybody about in 2007 and 2008. Obama was a nothing, with no experience, no track record, no qualifications. What did anyone expect? Did brain dead people actually believe he was going to lower the oceans and heal the planet, like he promised?

Daniel Ellsberg, Liberal icon, is now saying 'Obama deceives the public.' I agree, but on a different scale.

Ellsberg, one of the brain dead, believes Obama lied about ending wars, upholding the Constitution and restoring civil liberties. All dumb Liberal myths.

I believe Obama is just one big lie. The guy is a liar.  He didn't start lying the day he became President.

And here's an interesting study about the Liberal inability to comprehend basic economics. Conservatives did best... Liberals, the worst.  No wonder they spend like crazy without a second thought to the future.
