Mr Hayward has been warned he wioll be 'spliced and diced' by the committee
Why are people so outraged at BP CEO Tony Hayward? I actually like the guy and I've been impressed with his manner.

But some of you are stupid enough to think that the Chief Exec of the world's second largest oil company actually rolls up his sleeves and drags oil from the bowels of the Earth himself. I would suggest that you are the same stupid people who voted for Barack Obama.

Being frustrated by the Gulf oil spill is understandable.  I'm frustrated.  Being angry is reasonable. I'm angry, too. Especially about the government doing nothing for two weeks after the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon rig.  This was an avoidable crisis, but Obama turned down 13 offers of foreign assistance.  And expecting Hayward to answer specific questions now about X, Y and Z, when Y and Z occurred a mile under the water strikes me as totally unreasonable.

Tony might be inept, but only stupid people ask stupid questions in a crisis.

And nobody was more stupid (or shamelessly outraged) last week than Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI), Bruce Braley (D-IA) and Peter Welch (D-VT).  All of these guys lambasted Hayward for seven and a half hours!  Democrats are always the stupid and inept ones.  And they prefer talking to taking direct action.

The best question to ask is this: Did the Congressional grilling Hayward received solve anything? No.  Was it a waste of time? Yes, completely. It was a bunch of rich guys yelling at another rich guy, all to no avail, illustrating yet again just how worthless governments are.

Of course, Tony is back in England, spending time with his family and sailing today. He's got his back. Finally.

And what is the President of the United States (and I use that term loosely) doing? Barry is golfing.

Smoke and mirrors. What a waste of our money and government time to hold these inquisitions. Let BP focus on fixing the problem with coast guard oversight. There will be plenty of time for the road show.

Emanual and Shelby are upset that Hayward is at a sailing event, big deal. Do I think it is a good PR move, no. Do I care, no. Just like I don’t care that Obama is golfing.

I am completely convinced that "O" intended for the spill to reach the shore before he made any effort to rectify anything. Thus, he turned down all offers of help. If the spill were cleaned up in the deep waters and away from the shoreline, he would not have had a crisis to build his platform on. Now that is is close to our land, he is able to dwell on the evils of drilling anywhere. It could have and should have been cleaned up within days of the accident. It is not BP's fault. They were doing all they could with one hand in shackles..

Democrats are smoke and mirrors. Our President is a myth. His legend is smoke and mirrors.

I believe this oilspill, just like the economic crisis, the total misrepresentation of America's health care system, the corporate failures, all of it were crises not to be wasted. A perfect storm. They were opportunities the hard Left Democrats exploited and continue to exploit for their own sake of power and government expansion.

Obama was never serious about offshore drilling. It was a test. The oil spill has given the White House a gift in the form of the perfect Liberal reason why drilling is so bad, and now they are shutting down exploration projects in the Atlantic, the Pacific, up in Alaska and in the Gulf of Mexico.

Another perfect storm.

The fact that a President of the United States sat back and did less than he could/should have while this oil spill got so out of control is beyond excusable. Obama should be impeached for outrageous incompetence.
