obama is as lame as the padres

The Magic Negro 'struggles' to connect with voters. And voters are dumb.

raising your taxes

Democrats escaped by a hair on their chinny chin chins today, adjourning Congress (voting 210-209) without extending the Bush tax cuts.

The message is clear: The Democrats want to raise your taxes, but they want to do it after the midterm election. Let's call it when election year politics intersects with economic and political realities.

Adjourning without voting on the tax extensions is like "putting their election above the needs of your constituents," Boehner said in his speech. "Vote no on this adjournment resolution. Give Congress the chance to vote on extending tax rates."

By their vote to postpone adjournment, the 39 endangered, "uncomfortable" Democrats below are admitting they understand that failing to extend the Bush tax cuts is tantamount to increasing taxes.

the buck stops with the blame game

Here's the funniest political thing I've ever heard: Republicans want to implement the same policies that led to the Great Depression. Really?

Who is claiming such tripe? None other than he most third most pathetic Democrat (after Jimma Carter and Barry H. Obama) MIKE DUKAKIS!

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.  Then as now, Democrats OWNED all three branches of the Federal Government, but, then, as now, Democrats are advocates and slaves to failed ideologies.

The Democrats should really just pack it in, get it over with and hand the keys of the White House and Congress to the Republican Party. What an embarrassment.

weird

The President of the United States has a town hall meeting and only gets twelve people to show up?

Oh yeah, and he's announced that he 'loves Jesus' just in time to appeal to rural America. Love that polling!

soros & axelrod

According to Politico & the American Thinker:
"That year [2004] one of Axelrod's firms collected at least $229,000 from The Media Fund, Harold Ickes' 527 organization funded by Soros and other mega-donors, which ran some $53 million in ads aimed at supplementing John Kerry's campaign.

"Another Axelrod firm earned at least $46,500 making ads for a Democratic 527 backed by the Sandlers, Citizens for a Strong Senate, which poured $5.4 million into that year's Senate races.

"Those 527s were criticized for their woefully slow disclosure, with donors' names emerging long after ads had done their damage. The Media Fund also later paid a giant fine to the FEC for, allegedly, flouting federal election law by relying on huge contributions.

"Axelrod's old firm also specialized in running run high-stakes, expensive advocacy campaigns on the state and local level that -- as he deplores today -- did no disclosure at all of their corporate backers."
And they're funded an anti-Israeli group, called "J Street," too. Love that 'hope' and 'change.'

carly & ma'am

This is classic. The uber-Liberal San Francisco Chronicle has chosen not to endorse a Senate candidate this year. One would automatically assume that a Liberal paper would endorse the incumbent Liberal, Barbara Boxer. Nope.

In fact, the Chronicle had some particularly harsh words for Boxer, like:
"Boxer has failed to distinguish herself during her 18 years in office. There is no reason to believe that another six-year term would bring anything but more of the same uninspired representation."
"Boxer's most famous moments on Capitol Hill have not been ones of legislative accomplishment, but of delivering partisan shots."
"Boxer has had the good fortune of running against "inept, underfunded" or fringe opponents in the Senate race, but this time her opponent -- Fiorina -- "is proving to be articulate, well-funded and formidable."
"Boxer's campaign, playing to resentment over Fiorina's wealth, is not only an example of the personalized pettiness that has infected too much of modern politics, it is also a clear sign of desperation."
Talk about pettiness! They praise Carly Fiorina's campaign and acknowledge her effectiveness but refuse to endorse her anyway! In conclusion, the Chronicle says:
"It is a dismal choice between an ineffective advocate for causes we generally support and a potentially strong advocate for positions we oppose. Neither merits our endorsement for the U.S. Senate."

39 days out

Unable to debate policy or defend their three year record, Democrats start slinging mud. How typical.

What a pathetic excuse for a political party.

political games

Not voting on tax cuts before a crucial midterm election means what exactly? Mmm... Maybe beating Republicans over the head with a non-vote on so-called 'tax relief'?

Harry Reid, established, affirmed and acknowledged, liar. Yeah, I blame you.

we saved the world

Nice teleprompter. If you voted for this idiot, you owe America, and the world, an apology.

a pledge to america

America is more than a country.

America is an idea – an idea that free people can govern themselves, that government’s powers are derived from the consent of the governed, that each of us is endowed by their Creator with the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. America is the belief that any man or woman can – given economic, political, and religious liberty – advance themselves, their families, and the common good.

America is an inspiration to those who yearn to be free and have the ability and the dignity to determine their own destiny.

Whenever the agenda of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to institute a new governing agenda and set a different course.

These first principles were proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence, enshrined in the Constitution, and have endured through hard sacrifice and commitment by generations of Americans.

In a self-governing society, the only bulwark against the power of the state is the consent of the governed, and regarding the policies of the current government, the governed do not consent.

An unchecked executive, a compliant legislature, and an overreaching judiciary have combined to thwart the will of the people and overturn their votes and their values, striking down longstanding laws and institutions and scorning the deepest beliefs of the American people.

An arrogant and out-of-touch government of self-appointed elites makes decisions, issues mandates, and enacts laws without accepting or requesting the input of the many.

Rising joblessness, crushing debt, and a polarizing political environment are fraying the bonds among our people and blurring our sense of national purpose.

Like free peoples of the past, our citizens refuse to accommodate a government that believes it can replace the will of the people with its own. The American people are speaking out, demanding that we realign our country’s compass with its founding principles and apply those principles to solve our common problems for the common good.

The need for urgent action to repair our economy and reclaim our government for the people cannot be overstated.

With this document, we pledge to dedicate ourselves to the task of reconnecting our highest aspirations to the permanent truths of our founding by keeping faith with the values our nation was founded on, the principles we stand for, and the priorities of our people. This is our Pledge to America.

We pledge to honor the Constitution as constructed by its framers and honor the original intent of those precepts that have been consistently ignored – particularly the Tenth Amendment, which grants that all powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

We pledge to advance policies that promote greater liberty, wider opportunity, a robust defense, and national economic prosperity.

We pledge to honor families, traditional marriage, life, and the private and faith-based organizations that form the core of our American values.

We pledge to make government more transparent in its actions, careful in its stewardship, and honest in its dealings.

We pledge to uphold the purpose and promise of a better America, knowing that to whom much is given, much is expected and that the blessings of our liberty buoy the hopes of mankind.

We make this pledge bearing true faith and allegiance to the people we represent, and we invite fellow citizens and patriots to join us in forming a new governing agenda for America.

It's gotten so bad the Obama's went to church this morning!

i can see november from my house

People in Chicago, and across America, are pissed, and rightfully so...

It turns out the Community Organizer and 'brilliant' Constitutional lawyer, Barry Obama, isn't so brilliant, and that 'hope' and 'change' bullcrap was just an empty campaign slogan.

voters are smart

Ohio wants their President Bush. Outside of the MOE, Ohioans prefer former President Bush to current President Obama, 50% to 42%.

Voters are smart, even if sometimes it takes awhile. Voters are smart, especially after they get fooled.

Certainly now the country is feeling nostalgic for an honest, capable President after the bumbling fool we've had for the past 20 months.

From Tom Jensen @ Public Policy Polling (PPP) a Liberal polling consultancy:
"[In what promises to be a Republican midterm election victory] there's one finding on the poll that pretty much sums it up: by a 50-42 margin voters there say they'd rather have George W. Bush in the White House right now than Barack Obama.

"Independents hold that view by a 44-37 margin and there are more Democrats who would take Bush back (11%) than there are Republicans who think Obama's preferable (3%.)

"A couple months ago I thought the Pennsylvanias and Missouris and Ohios of the world were the biggest battlegrounds for 2010 but when you see numbers like this it makes you think it's probably actually the Californias and the Wisconsins and the Washingtons."
This is the type of stuff that can happen when the Majority misinterprets their mandate, arrogantly abrogates power and governs against the will of the American people. Democrats are feeling it now, let's hope the Republicans don't suffer the same peril in the next two, four or eight years.

paula abdul

Liberals are suckers. They are naive, thinking the world is their friend. Liberals believe they can talk every issue, mend any fence, persuade every foe. They don't recognize evil when it matters, connecting dots and prevention aren't their their thing.  Democrats just want to be popular. To be liked. That's their goal. To feel good about themselves.

Just like Paula Abdul. Remember her? The former American Idol judge LOVED every contestant on the show. It didn't matter if they were male or female, short or tall, skinny or fat, talent or no talent, Paula THOUGHT THEY WERE GREAT.

Before Obama, think back to the two previous Democrats in the White House, Clinton and Carter. Both kowtowed to terrorists and thugs, both enabled dictators, allowed genocides and turned a blind, lazy eye to America's national security, weakening America without conscience. But they felt good about themselves.

President Obama can be fairly compared to Paula. He loves Muslims, even though they aren't our friends.  He thinks allowing the Ground Zero mosque to be built near the site where 3,000 people of all faiths were murdered (by Muslims), will help America's image at home and abroad. It will signal that we are, after all, a tolerant people. And the Democrats will feel really good about themselves.
"This is what might be called the Paula Abdul theory of foreign policy, after the famously forgiving former judge on American Idol. Never mind that you can't sing, or that you're letting yourself be played for a sucker: What counts is that you feel good about yourself, presumably because you're doing something good. Another name for this kind of thinking is moral narcissism."
Obama thinks he can fix the Palestinian/Israeli feud by forcing Israel into a position of weakness. Again, he loves the anti-freedom, terrorist-enabling, thug/dictator Palestinians. He loves Muslims and he sure feels good about himself.

Iran? The Magic Negro, has done exactly nothing to help the freedom fighters in Iran (or any other country around the globe) overthrow brutal regimes. There's little evidence to support the idea that Obama is incredibly fond of freedom. But he sure does love Muslims.

You'd think someone reading the Democrat playbook would come to the obvious conclusion: None of this crap works, has ever worked. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again, expecting a different result. But no, Democrats are way too busy feeling good about themselves.

Extending a recession by enacting higher taxes, increased spending and additional government regulation? Check. That's what Democrats do. Embracing our enemies and alienating our allies? That's what Democrats do. Ignoring all the problems in the world and leaving it for the next administration? That's what Democrats do. Tripling the deficit in eighteen months time? That's what Democrats do. But they really feel good about themselves.

Paula Abdul must be a Democrat.
