loving that transparency

Press relations apparently aren't a strong suit of the Obama White House, as evidenced by the latest blowup by the 'transparent' Obama White House.

The crime, supposedly perpetrated by the San Francisco Chronicle's Carla Marinucci? That she shot video of Obama protesters interrupting a fundraiser. Ewwwwwwwwww!!! And now she's out as as an official pool reporter.

And the White House is claiming they didn't 'punish' Marinucci after they 'punished' her. Total hypocrisy. We expect nothing else from the idiot-in-chief, Barack Obama.

Some snark from SF Gate. Enjoy:
"The hip, transparent and social media-loving Obama administration is showing its analog roots. And maybe even some hypocrisy highlights.
"White House officials have banished one of the best political reporters in the country from the approved pool of journalists covering presidential visits to the Bay Area for using now-standard multimedia tools to gather the news.
"The Chronicle's Carla Marinucci - who, like many contemporary reporters, has a phone with video capabilities on her at all times - shot some protesters interrupting an Obama fundraiser at the St. Regis Hotel.
"She was part of a "print pool" - a limited number of journalists at an event who represent their bigger hoard colleagues - which White House press officials still refer to quaintly as "pen and pad" reporting.
"But that's a pretty Flintstones concept of journalism for an administration that presents itself as the Jetsons. Video is every bit a part of any journalist's tool kit these days as a functioning pen that doesn't leak through your pocket."

unvetted

This is the last photo taken of Barack Obama senior, date unknown.
The media didn't do much digging into the background of then Senator Barack Obama. They certainly didn't report this in 2008: Obama's father was 'forced out at Harvard,' because of concerns over his personal life and finances.

And this is according to 'newly public immigration records'? Sure........................

2016

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts the "Age of America" will end in 2016 and China will be the world's one, lone superpower.

No way, you say? Just a decade ago, the American economy was three times the size of China's. It's happened quickly, our demise. And one must thank both Democrats and Republicans for the pickle.

But going forward, in the short run, there is no excuse for not curtailing reckless government spending. That means Democrats are going to have to come around to reality.

obama lacks focus

President Obama is the most undisciplined chief executive in my lifetime. Day to day, he flops around, never leading, forever reacting to events. But where is the focus on the economy? What happened to the 'laser-like' attention to the budget, cutting wasteful government spending?

Even Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is ripping Obama's lack of focus on job creation. I thought Democrats were 'the party of the people'?

liberal hypocrisy

"President Obama declared today's 41st annual Earth Day proof of America's ecological and conservation spirit -- then completed a three day campaign-style trip logging 10,666 miles on Air Force One, eating up some 53,300 gallons at a cost of about $180,000.  And that doesn't include the fuel consumption of his helicopter, limo or the 29 other vehicles that travel with him."

a withering critique

Sarah Palin is pictured. | AP Photo
"A withering critique." That's how the Politico's Andy Barr describes Sarah's speech today.

Just as I was starting to give up on a Palin presidential run, she goes to Madison, Wisconsin, delivers a speech and cranks it out of the park.

You remember Madison, don't cha? The Breeding Ground Zero for the dumbest people and slimiest union thugs around?

Her message to the GOP: "Fight Like A Girl," i.e., tough as nails and straight-up honest. Her message to Obama: "Win the future? The only future he wants to win is his re-election."

All true. All brutally honest. All Sarah. She continues to be right. No wonder the pigs on the Left hate her and have been trying to destroy her for three years.

P.S. Speaking of pigs, look at this handmade poster. Isn't that sweet? Some gracious, loving person in Wisconsin left it outside yesterday ahead of Palin's visit. Obviously, another tolerant, open-minded, caring Liberal Democrat.

the blaming mentality

If the United States defaults on our debt, like many are predicting, it will "be the fault of the Republicans"? Explain that to me, Tim Geithner (one of the many tax cheats who work in the Obama administration)?

Liberals never take responsibility for their failures. They blame everybody else, like children, for their shortcomings. Leaders, they are not.

the trump train

As much as I love what he's saying, here's why Trump can't be taken too seriously. He rips him now, but just after the 2008 election, he loved Obama. Even thought he might be one of the greatest Presidents, ever.

wicked witch of nothing

Nancy Pelosi, according to Politico, has 'faded as a power player.' Predictable. She's not the Speaker of the House any longer and thusly is irrelevant to policy making.  (Thank God.)  Is this really news?

What should be reported is Pelosi's role in the killing of the American economy the years she held sway, 2007-2011. And her role in ramming through the wildly unpopular Obamacare.

voter fraud

There are 18,460 dead people on the voter rolls in Ohio.

And who has controlled Ohio the past four years?  I'll give you a hint, it starts with a 'D.'

new low

From CNS News:
"President Barack Obama’s approval among the poorest Americans dropped to an all-time low of 48 percent last week, according to the Gallup poll, leaving the president with less-than-majority approval among all income brackets reported in Gallup's presidential approval surveys."

dumb database

Oh, the transparency! White House.gov claims "over 1,000,000 records of everyone who's come through the doors" via a searchable database.

But what about Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Jennifer Hudson and other celebrities? They aren't on the logs.

And some 205,000 visits and presidential meetings are blank, too. (No paper trail for future administrations / investigations, perhaps?)

The logs of former chief of staff (and about to become mayor of Chicago) Rahm Emanuel lists only 500 official visits out of a total of 4,400.

Isn't this just par for the course with all things Obama? Lazy, sloppy, unorganized, unprepared.

power nap

Our moronic Vice President Joe Biden had it about right today. Obama's boring speech was full of lies and misrepresentations, so he went right to sleep.  Took a power nap in front of Daley, Geithner, a bunch of Congressional people and media types.

Hey, Joe. Wake me up when it's 2012.

insanity con't

No shortage of crazy today.

The UN, thanks to Bolivia, are planning to table a draft treaty that would give Earth, excuse me, Mother Earth, the same rights as human beings and would establish a "Ministry of Mother Earth," an ombudsman responsible for listening to various complaints from the different environmental organizations.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) wants the federal government to tax internet sales.

Now that we know more about last Friday's rushed budget deal the more we see the Democrats got to keep more of what they wanted.  Two constants in DC: Democrats want to raise taxes and Republicans always cave.

If we believe CNN, and why in the world should we, Donald Trump is tied with Mike Huckabee in first place for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. I like Trump but I hate his hair. I also love the stuff Trump says about an America in decline and how he'd fix our problems.  I certainly agree with him that Obama is a terrible president.

And by most accounts, Obama is in trouble, for his mediocre handling of the economy, unemployment, gas prices, Afghanistan, Pakistan, food costs, foreign policy, Libya, etc. Even Obama-loving, supporting Politico is saying it.

lol

I laughed out loud when I read the Robert Reich headline on Huff Po: "Why the Right Wing Bullies will Hold the Nation Hostage Again and Again."

You've got to be kidding. I recognize that Liberals don't care much about what the people want. Democrats think they are smarter than everybody else and they think they know what's best for all of us. And, as such, they want more of our money so they can smartly and wisely spend it for us. (No, thank you.)

Newsflash: 'the Right Wing Bullies' are the Republicans elected six months ago in the 2010 midterms. Yes, I said 'elected.' Elected to do cut the out of control spending of the Democrats. And that's what they are doing.

How can the people be holding themselves hostage?

'you might want to think about a trade-in'

Liberals love to pretend that they care about the little people, but there's a problem.

If Liberals cared as much as they claim there would be no homeless people sleeping on the streets.  There would be no failed public schools.  Unemployment would be low. Discrimination or sexism would have been eradicated long ago.  Energy independence would have already been achieved.

None of those things have happened and it's not because Democrats haven't been in charge.  They've controlled Congress from 2007 until six months ago and they've held the presidency for two and a half years.

Obama won't allow America to utilize our own natural energy resources, so not only are we energy dependent we're also paying higher gas prices thanks to unrest in the Middle East.

The height of arrogance, condescension and insensitivity, laughing and telling people who are complaining about gas prices to 'think about a trade-in.'

Problem is, we all drive cars. And the Obama economy sucks, so a lot of people are unemployed. A 'trade-in,' might not be feasible for a lot of people. It's not like we all have limo's and SUV's at our disposal 24/7.  The smugness of this guy.

I want a new President. I'll trade Obama for ANY Republican. It doesn't matter which one.

rationing

"Surgeons say patients in some parts of England have spent months waiting in pain because of delayed operations or new restrictions on who qualifies for treatment.
"In several areas routine surgery was put on hold for months, while in many others new thresholds for hip and knee replacements have been introduced."
In other words, rationing.

Screw the Liberals who want to turn America into Great Britain.

2012

Monday, April 4

it begins

Obama officially started his re-election campaign today with an email to whatever idiotic supporters he has left.
"We're doing this now because the politics we believe in does not start with expensive TV ads or extravaganzas, but with you -- with people organizing block-by-block, talking to neighbors, co-workers, and friends. And that kind of campaign takes time to build," Obama wrote in the e-mail.
"So even though I'm focused on the job you elected me to do, and the race may not reach full speed for a year or more, the work of laying the foundation for our campaign must start today. We've always known that lasting change wouldn't come quickly or easily. It never does."
"The politics we believe in"? Those politics were completely and wholly rejected last November.  "The politics we believe in" amounted to a partisan health care/government takeover of the economy, a quadrupling of the deficit, a diminished standing around the world, ten percent unemployment, etc.

The politics of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Durbin, Weiner, et. al., have been an unmitigated disaster.  This campaign rhetoric, eerily similar to the empty 2008 campaign sloganeering is back.  Will anybody really fall for it this time?

out of control spending

The Federal Government, dominated by Liberal Democrats, spent eight times more money than it took in during the month of March.  That is just disgusting, especially after the midterm November election when America spoke clearly about the need to cut, cut, cut.

Vote Republican in 2012.
